John G. Harris - The Coach,
John is the Founder of Keeping It Real Today and The Coach. John has passion for coaching that is fueled by his deep belief in the idea that true independence is achieved at the conscious level through clarity of desire, accurate thinking, acquisition of knowledge, deployment of the right resources and commitment.

Over the past 20 years he has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs, professionals, students and community leaders in achieving the results they desire utilizing the Keeping It Real Road Map and experience toolbox he has assembled from his diverse professional, entrepreneurial, and community background.

John is himself a professional, and entrepreneur and a community leader. As a professional his experiences include: Strategic Staffing; Executive Recruiting; Management Consulting; Operations Management; Enterprise Planning and Analysis with industry experience in Financial Services; Insurance; Professional Services and Restaurant Management. As a Civic leader he is involved in redeveloping and improving the City of Hartford as a Commissioner of Redevelopment and is a former Non Profit Board Trainer for the United Way. As a community leader he is currently the President and a founding member of the 100 Black Men of Greater Hartford.

He holds a Master in Business Administration from the Frank Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University, a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy from Bentley College and an Advanced Operations Management Degree from Hamburger University – McDonald’s Corporation.
